Thank you to everyone who came out to the June meeting at Calamari's. We had a great time! I really enjoyed the beer -- Phoenix from Sly Fox -- and I am interested to know what everyone thought. More hops taste than I thought I'd like, but I really did like it. That's the beauty of the society -- the opportunity to try something new, and meet lots of new people!
I also wish to thank everyone who participated in our short survey. Your feedback will help us create better events and…

I had an opportunity to go to the Kelley’s Island Brewery last week with a group of WQLN members and really enjoyed it – which (I guess) isn’t saying much, I seem to enjoy every Brewery that I go to - probably because they are all so different.
Kelley’s is run by Patti Johnson, who is very friendly and very welcoming.
The brewery is totally laid back. It’s located on the south shore of the big US Lake Erie Island. Kelley’s Island is pretty much a bicycle only…

Go to my favorite beer distributor PEACH STREET BEER 4 LESS and you can find it there. It comes in a case of 12-22oz bottles. While there check out all the other selections they have. Ask the Beer Guys for help in picking out your next favorite beer. Tell Joe & Mike that I sent you.

I was so excited to join The Erie Beer Society, but I had to move because I was laid off 12 mouths ago. I will still keep looking for the e-mails. I moved to Ocala, Fl. Is there any way to have the beer shipped down here? I really miss the MICRO'S and CRAFT beers.By the way, when are the tee shirts going to be out, I would wear it with pride down here!! Keep up the fantastic job and I will plan a vacation for the Beer on the Bay.

Hello everyone! So many people are raving about the strawberry beer that was sampled at the Erie Micro Brew Fest on Saturday. Which brewery featured the beer? Lots of folks are asking if it's available locally.

Just returned home from this years beer fest----another great job putting together a wonderful event. All the beers were great! I don't remember any music @ last years so was very happy to listen to two groups(Tom Stine sounds like a group). The addition of the tent area with cigar aromas, tunes from Harbour Knights, spontaneous dancing/singing from the crowd was very, very fun.Hope this area remains "in the loop" for next year. Thanks to all who made this BrewFest another fun day!
