Event Description

Join us Thursday, September 26th at U Pick 6 Harbor House!

We will be celebrating Oktoberfest in style. We'll have two traditional German Oktoberfest beers on draft to choose from.

The first will be Hofbrau Oktoberfest and the second will be Spaten Oktoberfest.

Here's some information about Oktoberfest:

Why is the majority of Oktoberfest held in September?

Oktoberfest starts in September because its final day has a fixed spot on the calendar. The last day of the festival is always on the first Sunday of October. The annual Bavarian bash evolved from a royal wedding. In October 1810, the Bavarian Crown Prince Ludwig married Princess Therese of Saxony-Hildburghausen, and locals celebrated in Munich.

 About the Beer

Hofbrau Oktoberfest

Hofbräu brews a rich, full-bodied beer which goes down ideally with traditional Bavarian cuisine. It is an absolutely natural product; brewed from pure water, the best quality malt and exquisite hops. Offering 6.3% alcohol by volume and a clean, crisp edge, it is a vital part of the Oktoberfest experience. As unique as the Oktoberfest itself!

Spaten Oktoberfest

The beer of Munich’s Oktoberfest. Amber in color. This medium-bodied beer has achieved its impeccable taste by balancing the roasted malt flavor with the perfect amount of hops. Having a rich textured palate with an underlying sweetness true to tradition. ABV: 5.9%
