Join us Thursday, May 31 at Mad Mex to sample a new cider from Volant PA called Knockin Noggin.
We will be doing two different ciders this month.
The first one is called Inertia, which is a semi-dry tart cider with an 8.5% ABV. Inertia presents a full Granny Smith style flavor profile that always remains at its constant state of consumer approval. Its sparkling body makes the crisp, tart aroma and taste, a refreshing craft beverage of choice.
The second one will be Cranberry Cider, a cranberry infused cider with a 7% ABV. This Cranberry Cider is made with the freshest ingredients. Starting with a base of Red Delicious style sweet apples, we press cranberries into every barrel. The sweet apples mask the know tartness of the cranberries leaving a smooth taste from start to finish. With an eye-catching pink hue, full apple aroma and mouthwatering fruit flavor, there's no question about Knockin Noggin Cranberry.

Our group unanimously requests that we stick to beer since we are not the Erie Cider Society. Sorry to say so, but neither cider was very good, most drank the cranberry, but some ordered a beer and we all left early. We thought you should know how our group felt since have been attending for a long time and enjoy getting together every month. Thank you!
