A friend of mine sent me this...sounds like a safe investment to me!

If you had purchased $1,000.00 of Nortel stock a year ago it would be worth $49.00 now. Enron ? You’d have $16.50 left. WorldCom? - $5.00 whole dollars.

But if you purchased $1000.00 worth of beer a year ago – drank it and turned in the cans for recycling then you would have $214.00!!!

Based on this, current investment advice is to drink heavily & recycle – it’s called the 401 Keg Plan
