2011 Erie Yacht Club Charity Regatta

Every year, the Erie Yacht Club chooses a nonprofit partner for their annual Charity Regatta. We are thrilled and honored to have been chosen to work with EYC on their signature event.

This year’s regatta promises to be the best yet. A fun “Fiesta” theme will be reflected in every element. Catering on Parade’s Chef Joe Fontecchio will be preparing the authentic Mexican lunch. The Jive Street Five will play Latin beats along with classic favorites and Connie Shoop, from Connie's Dance Studio, will be providing Latin dance lessons and demonstrations!

There will also be a brand-new children’s tent this year where SMC's Early Learning Center staff will have lots of fun activities. We will also feature a special Novice Racers meeting to accommodate any first-time racers out there!

The crowd favorite - the Rubber Duck Regatta - is back this year! Purchase a duck for $10 and then all ducks will be dumped into a basin at the event. Watch as the wind carries the winners across the finish line! Over 100 winners will be selected and will receive a terrific prize valued at $20-25.
